Get involved in the 2023 Synergy Schools Solar Challenge

The Synergy Schools Solar Challenge is a joint initiative between Synergy and the Science Teachers’ Association of WA (STAWA) held annually to engage and educate the next generation of Western Australians on the benefits of solar and renewable energy.

The Synergy Schools Solar Challenge forms part of a broader Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths ‘STEM’ program that supports and develops Western Australian students, empowering our future generations with knowledge and skills they need to drive our intelligent energy future as energy leaders.

The Challenge sees Year 6 and Year 8 students from across WA learn about solar energy, then build and race their own solar-powered model cars against teams from other schools.
